Can you believe it?

This is not really a story, more an awakening. I have a question, has anybody been seeing more and more videos taken from students posted online with flat out bullying and fights? I know I have. Some has made national news. Take the time and look to see if you see any. Some of the ones I have seen has put young adults and even teachers in the hospital with serious injuries. I know most of us parents has told our children to defend themselves but this is getting out of hand. Yes, they are not happening around here in NC, that we know of, but that does not mean it cannot happen. It takes one young adult to watch a video and and then repeat what they saw. I mean, defending yourself is different. But kids brutally attacking to the point of causing injuries where thy can change someone's life for the worse. Please parents, talk to your children. Explain the difference of defending ones self and escaping to a safe place and attempting bodily injury to almost causing death. Speak with your children that have the luck not to have a bully to be that person to recognize it and peacefully intervene. Sometimes, it is the victim that causes these injuries because lets face it, bullies are not always the biggest or strongest. I know this is a fine line, and no body wants there child to a victim or the one causing the attack, that is why us as parents should be able to explain the difference so our children can learn and grow in a safe environment. After we do, we can only hope for the best and have faith our children will do the right thing. Thank you for reading.
